I am part of the Nutrisystem Blogging Program and have received these products for free, all opinions are my own.

Ok So these past weeks have been a bit hard for me I guess you would say. I love food, who doesn’t? But with my birthday and Mother’s Day I had to come up with ways to celebrate that included my favorite foods but that I didn’t go too overboard. I won’t lie, I indulged a bit for my birthday. I really haven’t gone off of Nutrisystem for basically entire time that I have been doing it. I really wanted a Hamburger and fries and I was actually pretty proud of myself. My husband and I went and tried a new Hamburger place and I decided to eat half my hamburger and half the fries and save the rest. I was able to indulge a bit without going overboard and guess what…I still lost weight!
I would not recommend going off of plan like I did. I have to explain a bit. I had gastric bypass (which I have said before) and so naturally my stomach has shrunken a bit. Before Nutrisystem I probablly would have tried to eat more than I should have. But this time I felt like I was in control! I feel like that is a really great step for me. We have a Disneyland trip coming up in June and I really want to make healthy choices. YES I will indulge a bit BUT I am NOW in control of what I eat. Food does not have control over me like it used to.
I also had a really great Mother’s Day, I had a 6 oz steak (cooked by my hubby) small potato, zucchini and a Diet coke. I feel like I did really well not going overboard. I am only a few lbs from goal and really can’t wait! I am fitting into my clothes better and Nutrisystem has really helped me figure out how to be in charge of food and not the other way around.
I would love to hear from you readers and answer any and all questions that you may have!
