My 10-year-old son has really taken an interest in science this year which is so great. I was recently introduced to <a href="http://myfirstlab.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">My First Lab</a> and love all of the fun science products they have for kids. They sent us their Duo-Scope and Smartphone Inspector to try out and my son was very excited about it.

My son has been having a lot of fun with this microscope. Be sure to have 3 AA batteries ready as you will need them for the Duo-Scope. It comes with pre-made slides you can check out and everything you need to make new slides as well.

My son has been having a great time making new slides and getting to see things around him in a new way. I love seeing him learning and discovering, and this is really helping to foster his love of science!

We are also impressed with the quality of the microscope, it is clear and we can easily see what we are looking at and learn more about it from a new viewpoint. So fun! This little product is A LOT of fun! With it you can <a href="http://myfirstlab.com/product/smartphone-inspector/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">turn your smartphone into a microscope</a>, it’s super easy to use and at only $9.99 it is such an affordable option! Simply place the inspector over the top of your phone’s camera lens and viola, microscope!
This brought a lot of “ooohhhhhs and ahhhhhs” from my kids (and me too, I won’t lie). It is such a quick way to see things microscopically. It has been so fun watching both of my kids exploring the world around them in a new way using this inspector.
